AI monitoring and mitigation system operational

After seven months of data gathering, a team led by Juno Energy have successfully recorded the first dolphin encounter using a pioneering combination of marine monitoring technologies. The demonstration of the AI animal recognition and automatic activation of a mitigation measures is significant milestone in enabling tidal stream deployment in Wales. With applications in offshore wind and other industries, this technology will unlock marine energy consents in the UK and beyond.
